Luke Kalamas

Luke grew up in Watertown, New York. He attended Saint John Fisher University, where he played football and graduated in 2012 with a double major in Political Science and Legal Studies.

Following his undergraduate studies, Luke attended SUNY Buffalo for Law School, graduating in 2015. After law school, he moved back to Rochester and was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 2016.

Prior to joining the team here at Burd, Luke worked in private practice in the Rochester area. While his area of focus was labor and employment law, he also has experience with general civil litigation, as well as data security and privacy matters.

After almost 5 years in private practice, Luke decided to join the Burd family, and he now oversees the legal and compliance departments at Burd Physical Therapy and Burd Home Health. His focus is on helping both companies comply with applicable legal requirements as they continue to grow.

During his free time, Luke enjoys golfing and spending time with his two dogs, Piper and Mason. He is also a devoted Buffalo Bills fan!
